As every track is entirely relevant to me, there is still a general element that we all should be able to touch upon. This track is about loosing yourself in a love, a rather unhealthy addiction to it, a reckless love in which the weight of one pulls down the other in an endless tumble... like falling down a mountain side. It's a self defeating love affair, an endearing devotion, and a priceless emotion. Love. Young love. Much like the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet.
lyrics
Baby found me down on a mountain side
Watch me close my eyes as I wield these knives
Couldn't say exactly why I cried
Or why I tried at all to fall
Riding cowboy I'll be home to see you soon
Maybe you should try again to rope the moon
Before I remind your heart where the sparkles start
and I'll remind your heart where the sparkles start
Scares you so to see me on the mountain side
Scares me so to think that you would leave our side
So baby when you go I'm going to
End that way, I'm starting on your cue
Just don't leave me before our prime is through
Cuz boy you down that poison
I down it too
Baby found me down on a mountain side
Should have pushed me over
It'd of saved your life
But now I'm tied
And I have a heart
Don't want to see you, boy
Fall apart
So baby when you go I'm going too
Like Romeo and Juliet do
Just don't leave me before our prime is though
Cuz boy you down that poison
I down it too
And boy. you pull that trigger, I pull it too
And boy, you jump off that bridge
and I'm sinking in deep blue.
