Sort of self explanatory. This track is just what I was going through at that time. Physically, I had nothing but a broken guitar. I had just left the band I had in Seattle. Emotionally I had everything to hope for. It was a time when I really felt, if you dream it possible, it would happen. I still believe that of course... but with opportunities come responsibilities that I never accounted for. Needless to say, I've learned a lot since then.
lyrics
Well things just weren't working out
And I'd rather leave then sit here and pout
So I guess I'll just what's left and hit the road
And leave behind this over-stressful load
But I don't know what I'm gonna do with a broken guitar
And I don't know what I'm gonna do without having a car
It's kinda nice I'm already on the west coast
And closer to the dream
It's kinda shitty that the things that I trusted most
They didn't trust me
But things just weren't working out
It's probably best that I had to figure that out
When here I thought I was dreaming for the group
Turns out, they just thought I was stupid
But I don't know what I'm gonna do with a broken guitar
And I don't know what I'm gonna do with no money or a car
It's kinda nice I'm already on the west coast
And closer to the dream
It's kinda shitty that the things that I trusted most
They didn't trust me
